NEXA Baleno – It is all about bolder moves

The Smart Hybrid setup includes an integrated starter generator (ISG) with a lithium-ion and a lead-acid battery. It comes with an Auto Stop/Start function that automatically switches off the car when at a standstill and starts it as soon as the clutch pedal is depressed. This function works when the optimal conditions are met, and helps in saving fuel.
It also has a Torque Assist Function in which the ISG assists the engine during acceleration to reduce the load on the engine and improve the fuel efficiency. Priced competitively, the new NEXA Baleno is the only Smart Hybrid car in the segment.

Improved Mileage

The new Baleno is known for its amazing mileage. If you maintain a speed between 60 to 80 on average on a packed road and 100-120 on an open highway, the Baleno is capable of delivering optimum mileage figures.

Better Performance

The 1.2L Dual Jet VVT engine has healthy power and torque figures of 66kW@6000rpm and 113Nm@4400rpm, respectively. Couple that with the motor functions offered by the ISG in Smart Hybrid technology, you get strong performance and enhanced fuel efficiency.

Longer Battery Life

The NEXA Baleno utilises a long-lasting and durable battery setup in its Smart Hybrid setup so that battery life is the last thing to worry out.

When you factor in what the new Baleno has to offer as a well-rounded package, the price of the New NEXA Baleno comes across as quite competitive, starting from Rs. 5,58,602; the ex-showroom price of Baleno’s top variant starts from Rs. 8,90,212.
