Engine Specs for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
Two engine choices for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be available in 2022. The first is a 1.5-liter mild hybrid system that uses an AT or 5-speed manual transmission to provide a maximum torque of 135 Nm and 100 horsepower. The other option is a hybrid vehicle with a 1.5-liter powerful engine and an e-CVT, similar to the Toyota Hyryder. There are 114 horsepower in the engine. The automaker also asserts that its SUV has the maximum fuel efficiency in India and the highest mileage in its class, at 27.97 km per litre.
Suzuki's All-Grip AWD system, which automatically sends torque to the rear wheels when it detects a slide, will be offered with the 2019 Vitara. In addition, aside from the Toyota Hyryder, it is the only other SUV in the mid-size class to have an AWD feature thanks to the AWD option. The All-Grip system has four settings: Auto, Snow, Sport, and Lock, the last of which continuously engages both the front and back axles.
